Inspired by the ecology of sound, embodied poems, contact water dance, and light amplified through water. Celebrating the ritualistic elements that reflect the ancestral roots of our human experience.
Platonic Sonic
An experimental artifact conceived as a resonant vessel, where the voice draws geometries of liquid light. It functions as a vibratory matrix that translates vocal frequencies into visual forms, exploring the interaction between matter, vibration, and perception.
The project investigates the dance of wild water with botanical extracts. Through voice and sound, vibrations interact with the pigmented water, generating visual compositions that become tonal imprints of the human voice.

Entre Dunas
From the connection with the Earth and clay, the female body becomes a moving canvas for expression and reflection on the resilience of the endemic ecosystem of Baja California Sur, Mexico.
The body symbolizes the earth element, as the roots of time or existence itself. Tracing a map of complex internal forces, to dialogue with the world of intuitions and unseen dreams.
The intervention with clay wraps the mind in a web of purity and beauty: the skin tells a story in silence. It emerges from the observation of the water realms that connects everything.

ENTRE DUNAS nace por el anhelo de rendir homenaje a la tierra—casa que me ha acogido por arte de magia.
Desde ahí, se observa el sol entrando en la mar sublime, entre las dunas.
El cuerpo es representado por el elemento tierra: las raíces, el origen.
Es por la danza y el estudio sobre la libertad, que he podido recordar cómo abrazar el presente.
Así, el cuerpo—origen se regenera en un movimiento en trance; al compás de la tierra, por la tierra y para la tierra.
La intervención con la arcilla envuelve la mente en un estado puro. Surge de un espacio fuera del tiempo, transformándolo todo: las aguas y la piel cuentan una historia en silencio.

Metamorfosis de la voz
De repente, fue diferente.
Es como si el tono opacase la piel que habitaba.
Es como si el ruido de pronto se esfumase al olvido.
Dejé de sentir calor y compuse un perfume sonoro que impregnó la misma voz que dejé de escuchar.
Es el tercer oído, es el mismo vibrato alto que recuerda y recupera una fuerza de mar abierto, más profundo quizás cuando me cantabas en el pecho y en silencio.
De repente, dejé de escuchar la mariposa aleteando la intuición luminosa, fulminante.
Será que nunca aprendió a hablar desde el alma? o que nunca me atreví a esculpir ese mismo tono azulado que habita una calma.

Y de repente, ya no vives cerca, ya no existe la sombra que recuerda un granito de arena de nuestra existencia.
Ahora solo disuelvo para danzar y danzo para disolver.
Entre mares voy soltando el rumbo y me entrega la vida más calma, más gracia, más tiempo…

Suddenly, it was different.
It's as if the tone overshadowed the skin it inhabited.
It's as if the noise suddenly vanished into oblivion.
I stopped feeling warmth and composed a sonorous perfume
that permeated the same voice I ceased to hear.
It's the third ear, it's the same high vibrato
that remembers and recovers a force of the open sea,
deeper perhaps when you sang to me against my chest and in silence.
Suddenly, I stopped hearing the butterfly
fluttering the luminous, striking intuition.
Could it be that it never learned to speak from the soul?
Or that I never dared to sculpt that same bluish tone
that inhabits a calmness.
And yet nothing lasts forever, only the scent of your skin
touching the deepest corners of my solitude.
And suddenly, you no longer live nearby,
the shadow that remembers a grain of sand
of our existence no longer exists.
Now I only dissolve to dance and dance to dissolve.
Among seas I release my course
and life gives me more calm, more grace, more time…

WATER on WATER
-Poema al viento-
Como un theremin, quiso tocar el cielo con la danza en sus manos.
Como el viento mismo dirigiendo la orquesta de partículas.
Siente, sí si si si si si si sieeenteeee el viento, ese aliento.
Sin sabor, sin olor, sin sonido, sin nada mas que él, solamente él y sus manos cuerdas.
Cuerdas, tornos, giros, pies; su alma.
Cuerdas, voces, recuentos, polvo, olvido, manos; su espíritu.
Tan pronto como mi mano lo tocó, supimos qué emana del no-ego, al deshacer los nudos de la inconsciencia, de su verso transverso.
Mas supe que era mudo, y yo casi no sé escuchar si mi piel o mis manos no tocan esa alma desértica, desprendida.
¿Y si el órgano mas extenso recorre el mundo, y nos guía mas hacia lo superficial que hacia una jícara de armonía…? entre las corrientes del viento y mi vida antigua, la vida que es un suspiro tocado por sus manos, sus palmas, sus plantas, sus pies invisibles y etéreos.
Toco su voz, luego existo.
Aunque la duna movediza se haya tragado el sonido de cuando le dieron a luz.
Resplandecer en un grano de arena, aunque no entona, si entra…
Como un theremin, quiso tocar el cielo con la danza en sus manos.
Como el viento mismo dirigiendo la orquesta de partículas.
Siente, sí si si si si si si sieeenteeee el viento, ese aliento.
Sin sabor, sin olor, sin sonido, sin nada mas que él, solamente él y sus manos cuerdas.
Cuerdas, tornos, giros, pies; su alma.

Tono lunar
El color y el calor de la sangre es lo que conecta a lo ancestral, lo milenario. Es como si la información de la creación habitase en cada molécula de ese líquido que marca lo cíclico, lo sagrado, lo tangible e intangible.
Aquí, una oda al ser mujer, una reverencia a el tiempo mismo que es inalcanzable... cuando cae una gota, con la mano, el dedo o palos de zacate limón, le doy cause; mas la misma tierra debajo, el viento y la temporalidad es lo que marca los patrones, que de pronto se miran en espejo.

Silent Dust
A dance of liberation performed during Burning Man 2017. The piece reflects on the space between rituals, the subtle, unseen energies and synchronicities inherent in the human experience.
After having a NDE (near death experience) in 2015, a deep wound needed to be released and transformed.
It is only when the mind dissolves the ego, that the body is able to express what memories and words cannot touch.
